Sj Hockett (They/She) is a creative director focused on making meaning, not content.

Their work centres intuition, imperfection, and emotion to create authentic connections between people and place, concept and culture, what we see and what we feel.

Trained in physics and shaped by DIY and queer communities, Sj works through research, embodiment, and lived experience. Their practice examines how movement, identity and the unseen layers of the everyday inform the ways we understand ourselves and each other, with a particular focus on endurance culture.

Over the past 15 years they have shaped global creative for clients across sport, fashion, and music, including adidas, Palace, Vans, Warp Records, NTS Radio, Nike, MAAP, Rapha, Albion Cycling, Specialized, Island Records, U2, [PIAS], Rivian, Hades Knitwear, Knog, and The North Face.

Their practice spans creative direction, brand identity & strategy, editorial and publication work, spatial projects, campaign development, and cultural storytelling.
